Located in Brooklyn, Maryland, VegBox beginnings started with a little girl’s dream to make vegetables taste good.

Here at VegBox, we provide plant-based dishes that are fresh, fast, healthy, and have amazing flavor with the convenience of being a complete meal in a box. VegBox beginnings started with a little girl’s dream to make vegetables taste good. This little girl grew up with the demands to eat her vegetables and why she should eat them. But to her, they were unpleasant. That’s when it all began. She started to understand and accept reality for people to be strong, healthy, and live a life free from unnecessary disease they needed to eat their vegetables. But it was one problem… they were nasty! 

This understanding gave birth to the desire to make vegetables taste flavorful and delicious for all people to enjoy. She knew that if they enjoyed the vegetables, they would stick with eating them, which will allow people to live healthier longer lives.   

Fast forward to today, our Founder Vegan Chef Roberta Lowe who’s a pioneer to the vegan movement through her high-end vegan catering company. She saw a need in her local community for a fast-casual restaurant experience focusing on amazingly seasoned whole plant vegan dishes. She teamed up with two other visionaries and VegBox was born.
